I am a teacher at a vocational school in upstate NY and I teach motorcycle, small engines, and automotive. All of the videos on my channel are videos that my students use in my class and were made (in what I believe to be) a simple to follow way. Many of the videos also have links to worksheets that teachers can use in their class that follows the videos.
I thank all viewers of my videos and hope you can use them to learn or teach others.

I love this no-nonsense, straightforward style of video! Thanks so much!
Anyone else find the music incredibly intrusive and drowned out the voice over?? Good instructions otherwise.
I do and I made the damn video. I've been slowly replacing the videos and removing the music.
Thanks-- I feel a whole lot better, because it was such a good video, and I dislike being negative. Keep them coming!
Excellent explanation. Great job.
I know the problem once you said 2016 Dodge caravan
pentastar?
Would’ve lasted you a hell of a lot longer if you could just change the oil when you were supposed to
All MFG have had problems with case hardening camshaft lobes.
Done many of cam jobs due to that same failure on them engines. Good find.
The problem is a caravan
The problem is that engine didnt get enough oil changes
Agreed!
I use a micrometer like once a year. For the past decade+ I have always came back to this exact vid just for a quick refresh to be 100% sure.
The music is way too loud!!! Video otherwis one of the best!
THIS IS NOT HOW YOUR INSTALL A START SPRING
Why don't you share your expertise or video on the "correct way" to do it?
I have a question. Where can I get parts for a 3.5 hp. B&S recoil starter? The plastic pully that guides the rope is broken.
Clear, succinct, perfect video.
It's good to no about governor how they work and what they do.and carburetor adjustment
The pull rope broke on my mower and I couldn't figure out how to re-tension the spring. Your video showed me how. Thanks!
SO STUPID! CHANGE YOUR STUPID title! That's not a STARTER, it's a PULL START🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ BIG DIFFERENCE BUD.
Disculpe cuanto torque llevan los tornillos de la cabeza o culata
Good video but I could do with out that music.
Excellent and super clear video - VERY HELPFUL!!!
Ty for the HELPFUL VIDEO!!!
Not sure of what you're meaning is.
@@motoprofessor3546 I used your video to help me fix my brakes
Thanks for the video. Just what I needed to fix my tiller pull cord. Saved me plenty of time. Was able to fix my issue in less than 5 minutes.
So why do you need to mark the valve stem hole. Isn't the hole a mark in itself? Not as if there is more than one of them.
Some rims have another hole for a rim lock and I like to mark the valve stem hole to make it easier when installing the spokes.
I was taught that this is called a "travel" indicator, a test and back plunge indicator have a dial "face".
Thanks for including the torque spec of the friction plate bolt - is the only place I've found it. I think I messed mine up over torqeing before I found this video so have ordered new parts. I didn't even notice the music so many have complained about - sheesh! Guess I was laser focused on your explanation!
3 half turn out!
good video
Great video! Thanks for the information. I did get tired, no pun intended, of hearing about the other machines I have been using. This is my first tire machine. I wish you would have addressed the wheel sensor issue, but I will figure it out from here. Thanks again for a great start.
A no nonsense explanation. Thanks.
'Promo sm'
Very helpful video! the epic music in the background is classic
Thank you for the video, I wish I watched this first before trying to fix it without prior knowledge. Just a quick FYI, IF you do turn the pulley clockwise it will damage the spring, however it's a very simple fix. You just have to bend the spring back into shape again. Ask me how I know this lol. This tutorial also applies for the 499901 pulley.
Hey looks like that dust shield is needed too
I don’t know. I don’t think that is a wheel bearing. Look like a loose wheel lug.
Where do you see a wheel lug?? Or even a wheel for that matter??
I guess I should have grabbed the hub itself instead of the stud. Or better yet, I should have videoed the wheel movement before I loosened the lug nuts.
@@motoprofessor3546 I saw thw movement just fine.
@@pickerpete8208 The ‘bolt’ he is grasping is a wheel lug stud. From this angle it looks like the stud is moving.
@@winstonscates4387 seriously? I don't need explainin
you're a legend dude. others make it hard to read and you make it simple for everybody to do. keep it up!
Just a little bit lol 😂😂
Bro its fine
😂😂 send it.
The music damn near put me to sleep !!!
what flavor of grease is that on the 6 points of contact ? thank you for such an amazing film !
Anti-sieze
excellent presentation Thank you.
6:18 the pawls on mine don't come out positively as they should like that but are just loose and flung out under centrifugal force. I noticed I had damage to the tabs on the pawls that the ramp guides outwards. I'll have to take a look at that to see if it's properly aligned and engaging the ramp.
I couldn't find the mixure screw adjustment in this video, My Gx might get too poor or too rich if not adjusted
Look for my gx160 carburetor service video.
Could you balance same wheel twise. And make video about it. First balance a wheel, than remove from machine. Spin shaft few turns. And put it back again, and spin it. I want to see zeros again. But my machine asks for more weights.
What can I do if I didnt measure the offset before removing the old spokes? Do all motorbikes have an offset? I cant find any mention of it in the manual, only the horizontal and vertical buckle tolerances
Tnx man. This is something i rarely perform on my honda generator, around once every 3 years, and every time i need to refresh my memories. The video was simple and straight to the point, nicely done
Lol, what bike is that 😂
This video right here, my brothers were building this, we recently checked up on it and it sadly it didn't survive
Of all the educational videos ive ever watched, this one has the most rockin soundtrack.
